Well, down here in the South, it is still hot and it does not even look like fall. If you are experiencing fall weather, please send some down here!
Most of the kids are going back to school this week. My youngest is watching the school buses drive up and down the road, then in the next breath, telling me that we need to get our books out and begin our school (We do homeschool). It is funny, because once we get started after Labor Day, he will drag his feet…
I started taking some herbal classes, and I know that sometimes our children need something to help them focus. I looked for some combinations that would help those little ADD and OCD little people, kind of like my own! LOL We can change their diet, but there are seasons for an extra push…and then again, some do not just grow out of that season…but, we try anyway.
So, I came up with this focus tea. It has a balance of soothing calm, and alertness. See if this works for your child. I learned real quick not to give it to my special needs son too late, because he became quite focused alright!
If you are homeschooling, you could start out with a science lesson on using herbs to make tea, and then transition to the books! Otherwise, this may help wake your child up for learning first thing in the morning.
